The Boston Terrier is a loving companion dog well suited to apartment and small house living. She only requires walks for exercise. She can become overheated in hot and humid climates. Does Your Forex Strategy Include The Fibonacci Two-Step?

Fibonacci can be a very valuable addition to the tools in your Forex strategy, even if you are a reasonably new trader. Experiment with the guidelines below and learn to do the Fibonacci two-step. The level of success with this tool is quite amazing.

Fibonacci levels indicate more often than not how far price is going to go before it stalls and pulls back. It also provides a number of levels where price can pull back or retrace before moving on in the direction of the trend.

The Levels

Using the Fibonacci tool that comes with most charting packages, simply drag the tool from the most recent swing high/low to the previous swing/high or low and take special note of the 50% retracement level.

The Two-Step Strategy

In a nutshell, the Fibonacci Two-Step means you set an entry order to be pulled in if and when price touches the Fib50% retracement level, and you set your target at the Fib1.27% extension level.

However, for these trades to be high probability with minimal risk a couple quick calculations are necessary.

What is your stop value? 25-30 pips? If it's more can your equity cover it if you lose the trade? For many traders 25-30 pips is a reasonable stop.

So before entering the trade, measure the distance between the Fib50% retracement level, your possible entry point, and the Fib79% retracement or even the 100% level. If it is more than 25-30 pips, pass on the trade. The risk is too great. If price pulls back further than the Fib50% level even all the way back to the last swing high/low, you will be in trouble.

However, if the Fib79% or 100% level are within 25-30 pips of your entry at Fib50%, you have a possible trade.

Now calculate how many pips from Fib50% to the extension at Fib127% - this will be your profit ratio. Supposing your stop is set at 25 pips, perhaps somewhere between the Fib79% retracement level and the swing point, and your target at the Fib127% extension is 36 pips, that's a good risk/reward ratio! You are risking 25 pips to get 36.

It is often advisable to set your target 3 or 4 pips above the Fib127% level as sometimes price doesn't quite make it before it pulls back.

Use this strategy in line with your other indicators and trade in the direction of the trend for minimal risk.

The Secret Of The Two-Step Strategy

Why is this strategy so successful? Because it's not too ambitious.

Price will often pull back to the Fib50% level and no further. It will often go to the Fib127 and no further. So using these two levels puts one on middle ground with a higher chance of getting taken into the trade with the target successfully met.

So if you are looking to improve your Forex strategy, remember the Fibonacci Two-Step - In at Fib50 - Out at Fib127 - and dance all the way to the bank.

In a recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive for Medtronic, Inc., they found that 67 percent of people incorrectly believed a cure existed for type 1 diabetes.

The survey also showed that nearly 80 percent of U.S. adults don't know the difference between type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Type 1 Diabetes develops when the body's immune system destroys pancreatic beta cells, the only cells that make insulin, a hormone that regulates blood glucose. About 1 million Americans with type 1 diabetes are insulin dependent for survival.

Only half (fifty-one percent) of the survey respondents knew there were two types of diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is non-insulin-dependent diabetes. It appears mostly in older adults, but it's on the rise in younger adults due to the exploding obesity rate in the United States. Type 2 diabetes accounts for 90-95% of all diabetes cases in the U.S.

This is particularly disturbing in light of the fact that 90 % of type 2 diabetes can be prevented or reversed but can only happen if people have the knowledge of how to do it.

In the information age it seems appalling to me that so many people are ignorant of this disease which ruins so many lives not only in the United States but throughout the world.

I seem to be more aware or tuned in when it comes to the diabetes disease. I look for situations that are of concern for the diabetes community. What could be of help to someone that has the diabetes disease.

Let me explain.

Here is a quick story. I need to get this off my chest because the telling of this story will hopefully free me from the shackles of the constant images I get about what I saw at one of my lunches at Wendy's in Secaucus, New Jersey. It took place in April of 2007.

While in the midst of a great salad that I was eating I could not help but look at and see two rather large women making a lot of noise. As they walked to their tables, I noticed that they sat at two tables instead of one. This seemed odd. They were talking to each other like they knew each other. Anyway, as they started eating I saw that they each had these huge bags of food and a large glass of some fountain drink. They both kept reaching into their respective bags and pulled out French fry after French fry. Occasionally I saw them eating some kind of hamburger on a bun.

What fascinated me so much was the amount of French fries these two women consumed. I still think about it to this day

Now I started to think about the Diabetes disease and me.

How could these two women eat so much? What would prompt them to consume so much food? More importantly what could all these French fires and soda do to them? That is the key question as I gazed at them. Having the diabetes disease, my thought was that they were headed for the diabetes disease as well. With eating habits like this and being massively overweight they set themselves on this crash course towards this ailment.

These two ladies reminded me of myself. Here's why.

Back in the day I used to do the same thing these women did No wonder I am a diabetic now. I used to go to fast food restaurants and fill up on the super duper meals. Looking ahead during the morning to what I would have at lunch would be part of my daily ritual at least two to three times per week. Sometimes I would actually eat sensibly during the week and go to restaurant for lunch and eat a decent meal. But that was more of the rarity than the rule.

There you have my little vignette. Call it the diabetes disease portion control saga if you want. My issue has been about product portions. I like to eat when I am going to eat. Fortunately for me I am eating a lot more salads and foods that will help me with my diabetes disease. And eating normal sized meals as well.

Many organic diseases are caused by parasites which are small organisms that live within us and take nourishment from our systems. Parasites do damage to their hosts and are responsible for "parasitic diseases". Some parasites, like worms, are big enough to be seen with the naked eye. In some parts of the world, people can easily pick up hookworms when they walk barefoot. These worms travel into the intestines and live on blood. This disease can easily weaken a person and some of them die.

On the other hand, some parasites as so small that they are cannot be seen without a microscope. Such parasites are called microorganisms or germs. They cost the "germ diseases". Germs are carried in many ways from person-to-person, most especially when somebody coughs or sneezes. Sometimes they can get into our systems through food and drinking water. It is so easy for a sick person to communicate their disease to a healthy one. For this reason, such diseases are called "communicable diseases" or "infectious diseases".

If the germs of a certain disease are easily spread from person to person, it is called a "contagious disease". Germs come in many sizes and kinds. There are other types of diseases that are not caused by germs. In fact, disease can be brought on by any physical or chemical injury. Too much sun can bring sunburn or sunstroke. Some chemicals that enter the body can be poisonous. Sometimes a harmless substance becomes poisonous to a particular person. It makes a person sensitive to a substance in food, pollen, or even some medicine. He is said to suffer from an allergy, which is a form of disease.
